Science-based Anti-aging *Essentials for younger, better-looking skin.

I`m particular about my health in every aspect and most people don`t consider their largest organ, the skin, as part of the container which houses our muscuskeletal!

Important `anti-aging` considerations:

1. skin thinning
2. less moisture and collagen production as we age (from 27/yo, collagen production declines significantly)
3. discoloration
4. dullness
5. pore size

Important Active Ingredients:

1. Sun Protection - the most important and critical. If nothing else, sun protection is 70% of anti aging. It`s the strongest accelerant for skin-aging. Use a good 50 SPF on your face and neck if you`re getting exposed to sun. You can get Vitamin D conversion on other parts of your body.

2. Cleansing - don`t use foaming cleansers, they dry your skin and affect natural skin barriers. Use gentle gels instead. Cleansing sets you up for the following active ingredients.

3. Exfoliation - addresses accumulation of dead skin cells (creating dullness). There`s different ways, my favorite is an enzymatic scrub 2x/wk.

4. Increase Collagen Production with Retinol - the most studied and proven active ingredient when used properly (pubmed/google scholar). Everyone reacts differently so titrate the %. it`s an amazing multi-tasker: stimulates collagen production, decreases pigmentation, better cell-turnover. Same as...

5. Vitamin C - best way is having it both as fat and water soluble. Make sure Vit C and Retinol products are kept out of light and stored in a dark area. The active ingredient is really sensitive to light and air exposure. It won`t work otherwise.

6. Niacinamide - a Vit B derivative that helps with skin-barrier function, oil balance, pigmentation and collagen stimulation.

7. Peptides - specifically acetylene tetrapeptide-2, an accelerator for collagen production.

8. Hyaluronic Acid - holds 1,000 parts water per molecule! It`s like a water sponge that you put on your skin. It expands your skin and makes it look supple and healthy.

Others: oil balance (squalene and lipids), glycerin & aloe vera (hydrating and antioxidation), pigment reduction using the top products above!

So as a result, the TikTok users move directly to a strictly Chinese app which comprises of mostly Chinese characters (writing) and so all these Chinese influencers and creators are welcoming the “TikTok refugees” and teaching them Chinese and all these Chinese users are asking the TikTok refugees English translations to homework and all these math students are asking the Chinese math questions 😆😭 Fucc that’s hilarious.
